We have never said this before,
In 2017, as Newbrid, Boy Meka, Fayamide and myself were on our way to sing in a church in Asokoro in Abuja on a Sunday morning.
We took a taxi from our house in Lobito crescent, Wuse 2, and on our way, we decided to do our final rehearsal in the car we paid for oooo.
The driver, a Muslim said he will not allow us sing about Jesus in the car. Then we asked him how our song bothered him.
This man said okay, we will see... He drove us past where we were to stop and took us to the mosque area just before Nyanya Bridge, stopped the car and started shouting Allahu akbar. The Muslim boys around there immediately brought out sticks and stones to kill us, so three of us took them on (dem ma dey hear am for body). Then a Muslim boy took a stone and hit BoyMeka behind his head and he started bleeding.
That's when I spotted and motioned to some police officers around there who came and the boys with the taxi driver ran away.
We dusted ourselves, cleaned Boy Meka's blood, went to the church and still sang powerfully. Their plan was to kill us for singing about Jesus!
